The complete system consists of 3 POD units, small, lightweight and hard-wearing, which communicate wirelessly with the electronic nautical chart system, enabling their easy transport and installation.
The PPU obtains measurements using state-of-the-art GPS / GLONASS / BeiDou and Galileo Real Time Kinematic (RTK) techniques, together with ultra-precise RoT sensors. It also uses a UHF communication system between POD units to prevent signal loss due to interference.
