From 3 through 5 June, Houston (Texas) will be welcoming the 39th annual congress of the International Liquid Terminals Association (ILTA).
An absolute must for industry professionals to make contacts, develop future strategies and share knowledge through conferences and training courses. Prosertek will be joining with a stand to share its cutting-edge solutions for port terminals.
ILTA, the epitome of a mature sector
When an industry meeting takes place for the 39th time, it means that it is backed by the sector. This is proven by the attendance of over 4,500 professionals from the liquid terminal industry. It makes sense: the International Liquid Terminals Association (ILTA) is one of the main terminal industry developers in the United States, in operation since 1974.
This is why professionals place their trust in this annual meeting. They know it is the ideal display format to show what they are working on, to sell products and services and to make contacts. There are no fewer than 340 authorised companies with a stand for this year’s ILTA meeting.
Challenges for the liquid terminals industry
The event will host different conferences revolving around thematic subjects that currently pose the greatest challenges to the sector, such as the environment, the business and operational sector, health and safety, emergency management and internationalisation.
Furthermore, after the conference, a top-level programme of courses with professional instructors will be given, to take an in-depth look at specific aspects of the aforementioned subjects. This is to help professionals to develop the skills necessary and lead their companies to success. ILTA clearly invests in training as a weapon for growth in the sector.
Prosertek at Houston ILTA 2019
This year, Prosertek will be joining the benchmark international meeting for the liquid terminals sector. One of the attractive points of the fair is sharing the latest in equipment, and the Basque company will have a stand where visitors can gain in-depth understanding of their port solutions. You can find us at stand number 464.
There will be a priority space for our cutting-edge port equipment for LNG terminals, such as the BAS (Berthing Aid System). This is an information system that helps to provide safe sailing and efficient transport. By providing data, both in real time and historic reports on each manoeuvre, the BAS facilitates berthing and reduces errors, helping crewmen and personnel on the ground to make decisions.
Prosertek’s stand will also provide information on equipment necessary at any terminal or berthing platform, such as telescopic gangways, quick release hooks and fenders for ship berthing. With this kind of solution, Prosertek has great experience in manufacturing and installation. This proves essential to obtain top efficiency in the operations conducted on an everyday basis at liquids terminals.
