We carry out our activity with a firmly-entrenched belief in innovation. Indeed, this quality is what made us worthy of an award we are proud of: ON Bizkaia, for the best innovation project.
The award ceremony took place at the Bizkai Enpresa meeting. In early February, this meeting brought representatives from around 500 companies in our province together, as well as institutional players, at the Barakaldo Bilbao Exhibition Centre. This meeting was focused on open innovation and its strategic nature for companies.
The On Bizkaia awards, granted every year by Beaz (a public company from the Regional Council of Biscay), highlight projects and companies that contribute toward the creation of economic activity and employment in the province. Spin-off trajectory and start-up trajectory awards are granted. Moreover, internationalisation, entrepreneurial and social innovation, company creation, Creative Biscay and innovation projects are acknowledged. The latter award fell to Prosertek.
Leadership
In granting this award to our company, its organisers highlighted our leadership, both country-wide and in Europe, in manufacturing and installing port and naval equipment, as well as our trajectory: “25 years of history, marked by their ability to reinvent themselves and their ongoing effort to improve competitiveness, defining new challenges, whether in the product, the process, the market or in organisation. Each one of our projects is pure R+D,” they state, “proven by the fact that Prosertek group is currently present in main port infrastructures all over the world.”
These literally-quoted words back up the efforts made by our company, created in 1992 in Santurtzi. Throughout all these years, this effort has been focused on growing and expanding into new markets. At the same time, through this ON Bizkaia award, they have acknowledge our future vision with innovation as one of our main pillars.
